Toedeloe, the formation behind singer-songwriter Kevin Somers, brings modest and melancholic acoustic songs. After years of making music and performing together, the brothers decided to enter the studio in 2017 and record a selection of their work for their first studio album. Many performances followed, and they were often joined by a number of guest musicians. For the second album Kevin decided to record the 12 new songs with the help of Johan Somers on guitar and bass, Ilja De Neve on piano and organ and Tom Volckaerts on drums. This makes “Another day in the sun” sound surprisingly different, without losing the sound and themes of Toedeloe. 

The addition of extra musicians proved a success and in the summer of 2023 Toedeloe went back to the studio to record their third album: "Foresight 50/50" comming out december 15th.

Toedeloe entertains the audience with emotionally charged songs about love and sorrow, to rousing songs about social issues and concerns.

Er volgde vele aangename optredens, geregeld met een aantal gastmuzikanten. Voor het tweede album besloot Kevin dan ook om de 12 nieuwe nummers op te nemen met de hulp van Johan Somers op gitaar en bas, Ilja De Neve op piano en orgel en Tom Volckaerts op drum. “Another day in the sun” klinkt hierdoor verassend anders, zonder de klank en de thema’s van Toedeloe te verliezen.

De formatie bleek een succes en in de zomer van 2023 is Toedeloe met dezelfde muzikanten (en enkele extra gasten) opnieuw de studio ingedoken. Het resultaat: een gloednieuw album “Foresight 50/50” dat in december uitkomt.

Toedeloe onderhoudt het publiek met emotioneel geladen songs over liefde en verdriet, tot opzwepende nummers over maatschappelijke kwesties en bekommernissen.
